Disney & Family Travel Advisor

Meet Alissa.

A great vacation doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone took the time to build it right.

Her first Disney trip was in 2008, with her dad and sisters, and she still remembers the butterflies walking down Main Street and seeing the castle for the first time. She grew up on Disney movies, wand fights in the backyard with her sisters, and a deep love for Harry Potter that turns into annual movie marathons and full themed dinner nights, cookbook and all, though it's always better with an actual castle view.

More Than One Kind of Magic

Disney isn't the only magic in her world, though. She's just as much a Marvel and Star Wars fan, tracing back to childhood marathons of the original trilogy and a mouse droid popcorn bucket she still has (her kids have since claimed it as their own). It's something she and her husband actually bonded over early on, and their younger son is even named Peter Parker, after Spider-Man. The two of them even married themselves in the Garden of the Gods, surrounded by just their closest family.

Always the Planner

She's also always been the planner. Type A, detail-obsessed, the one who had every family trip mapped out since she was a teenager, just for fun. That same instinct is what led her to plan her own destination wedding, a self-elopement in the Garden of the Gods, Colorado with just close family present, from start to finish, herself. To her, a great vacation doesn't happen by accident, it happens because someone took the time to build it right. That instinct eventually turned into planning trips for friends and family, and then into a career.

Who She Loves Planning For

She loves working with families with toddlers and young kids, as well as multigenerational trips and couples getaways, anyone chasing that same feeling she had on Main Street all those years ago. Coming from a large family herself, with several big family trips under her belt, she knows firsthand what it takes to keep everyone happy, on schedule, and actually enjoying each other's company.

When you work with her, expect someone who takes the guesswork out of planning. She'll build a park strategy around your family's pace, handle the details, and make sure your trip feels magical instead of overwhelming. She's also a bit of a food expert, staying on top of what's new and trending in the parks so she can tell you exactly what's worth the splurge and what you can skip without missing a thing.

Beyond the Parks

Outside of travel planning, you'll find her running a small farm stand full of homemade bread and pastries, tending to her homestead garden and animals, chasing her boys around the yard, or rewatching Harry Potter for the hundredth time. If there's magic to be found, or a plan to be made, she's on it.
